The Bitcoin Cash network protocol is expected to undergo a hard fork upgrade at 20:00 (GMT+8) on November 15, 2020. Bibox will support this BCH upgrade and fork. Users who held BCH before get two new assets.
Deposit and withdrawal
Bibox will suspend BCH deposits and withdrawals before the fork upgrade. Please prepare in advance; we will handle any technical issues in the hard fork for users to ensure the safety of users' assets.
Snapshot and fork asset
Bibox will take a snapshot of BCH holding in all accounts (wallets, coins, leverage, quantification) of users before the fork upgrade. Bibox will obtain new forked coin based on the snapshot and airdrop them to the "wallet". Since there is no fair BCH fork naming standard in the current community, a fork transition period will be set. After the community has formed a consensus on BCH naming, we will end the transition period and perform the wishes of the community and rename BCHA or BCHN.
Exchange and leverage trading
Exchange: All BCH currency trading pairs will be suspended before the fork upgrade.Leveraged trading: Before the fork upgrade, all leveraged trading pairs on BCH will be suspended, and BCH cross margin and fixed margin leverage forced liquidation will be triggered. For leveraged users, please close positions you have and cancel all the pending orders before 20:00 (GMT+8) on November 13, 2020Contract trading.
BCHUSDT perpetual contract
The BCH/USDT perpetual contract will be delivered and suspended at 20:00 (GMT+8) on November 14, 2020.
Please note
- Before, after and during the upgrade, the BCH market may fluctuate drastically. Please make relevant arrangements and risk control in advance
- The platform will selectively open the deposit and transaction functions of BCHA and BCHN tokens generated by the fork after the distribution of the forked assets is completed
- During the snapshot of BCH holdings, if the deposit has not arrived or the withdrawal has been completed, this part of the assets will not be included in the scope of the holdings snapshot;
